Eagerly Waiting In His Presence, Sharon

Today’s Scriptures: Psalms 85 and Psalms 126

During this first week of entering into the Feast of Weeks you were encouraged to review your prophetic words (promises). The purpose of reviewing and contending for the fulfillment of your God given promises is to bring you (us) INTO a state of REVIVAL!

As we saw yesterday far to often we see obstacles to our fulfillment as THAT’S JUST LIFE or it’s MY CROSS TO BEAR! When in reality the roadblocks have been the enemies tactic to get us to settle in a place, to set up residence, in a foreign land - - - instead of pressing INTO our promise land of destiny.

God wants to take us from a place (a residence) of hope deferred, from survival (just holding on) mentality to a mentality of HOPE - a place of fulfillment.

In this karios season lets contend with the ‘that’s just life’  mentality. Let us be of the mind that says ‘All things are possible to those who believe!

God wants to takes us from Surviving (from trauma) -  to being Revived!

  • Survive: to endure or live through (an affliction, adversity, misery, etc.)

  • Revival: restoration to life, vigor, strength, etc.

Restore us, O God of our salvation…Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? - Psalms 85:4, 6

  • Restore (Mac Dict.): reinvigorate, revitalize, revive, refresh, energize, fortify, revivify, regenerate, stimulate, freshen.

  • Revive ( Webster Dict.): to bring again to life; to reanimate; to raise from languor, depression or discouragement; to rouse; as, to revive the spirits or courage; To renew; to bring into action after a suspension; to renew in the mind or memory; to recall; to re-comfort; to quicken; to refresh with joy or hope; to bring again into notice.

Psalms 126 TPT

A song of the stairway

1 It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion! 2 We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The Lord has done great miracles for them!” 3 Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed! 4 Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory! May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again. 5 Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee. 6 They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing!

I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying…Now help Me remember. Let’s get this settled. State your case, and prove to Me that you are in the right. - Isaiah 43:26 Voice
