Day 45  - Angels Attending Heirs of Salvation

Day 45  - Angels Attending Heirs of Salvation

For  by  Him  all  things  were  created  that  are  in  heaven  and  that  are  on  earth,  visible  and  invisible,  whether  thrones  or  dominions  or  principalities  or  powers.  All  things  were  created  through  Him  and  for  Him.  And  He  is  before  all  things,  and  in  Him  all  things  consist.  -  Colossians  1:16  -17

Tim Sheets wrote Angel Armies - Releasing the Warriors of Heaven. In chapter 9 he writes about 14 specific ways angels attend God’s children. Over the next couple of days we will be looking at some of the ways angels attend us (heirs of salvation) in our daily lives.

Angels attend us…in deliverance, in turnaround, provide protection, lead us, visit us in person and through dreams, provide direction, bring answers to our prayers, bring God’s judgement, battle the enemy, angels go before us, release prophetic words, they enlighten and reveal, and angels strengthen us.

Hebrews 1:14 (AMP) Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?

Tim writes, “King Jesus is on a new campaign upon the earth. An outpouring has begun - a Third Great Awakening - and according to Holy Spirit, its going to be very similar to what occurred in Acts 2.  Holy Spirit is coming with His angels who will partner with the remnant warriors and with the War Eagle generation (the coming generation) to implement this new move of King Jesus.”…

Hebrews 1:14 says angels are “attending spirits” (WIL). An attendant is someone who attends to another to perform a service to them. A worker in a restaurant is said to ten tables. They wait on the needs of those who are seated at the table. Angels are attendants with tasks that the Godhead has assigned to them. They wait on us, the heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. They serve the heirs of salvation. - pg. 127 -128

Angels and Deliverance

Psalms 34:7-8 The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

Angels protect and deliver those who are committed to Christ and His cause - those who are not compromising His Word and have received Jesus as their Lord. The word fear in this verse does not mean scared; in means respect. Angels protect those who respect God’s ways, “For the Angel of the old guards and rescues all who reverence him

Encamp is the Hebrew word chanah and it means “to pitch a tent, to abide, to set a siege, or to watch” (Strong, H2583). Chanah us closely compared to the Hebrew word chanan, which makes it even more meaningful. Chanan means “to favor, have mercy, show mercy, and sometimes means to make lively” (Strong, H2604) roundabout is the Hebrew word cebiybah meaning “to circle, to revolve around, or to the border” (Strong, H5439). It refers to protecting our borders (what comes in or cannot come in). The prophet Daniel tells us that the “watchers” are angels. What an amazing promise this is! Angels, representing Christ Jesus, are commissioned to watchfully circle us and protect our borders. They hover over our lives similar to how they hovered over the 120 in the Upper Room in Acts 2:3. Guarding us, protecting us from demon intrusion, circling us to surround with God’s grace. They hover over the heirs of Christ to minister mercy and show kindness. Angels are commissioned by the Godhead to watch over us and make things lovely. (King Davis says, they pitch a tent to do this; in those days they lived in tents). Angels abide, they live, they stick with us, circling us to turn the ugly to lovely. - Pg. 128

Word of the Lord

As I was with my children in the Bible so I am with you says the Lord. I have assigned the angels to attend you, to protect and keep you. One of their tasks is to turn the ugly things in your life to beautiful - they abide with you, touching areas of your life that seemed to be hopeless into areas of fruitfulness. My angelic hosts are not tiny baby cherubs but strong mighty deliverers sent to aid you in fulfilling your destiny. From ugly to lovely is their mission, receive their assistance and watch how things turn around for you and yours in this hour says the Spirit of God.

Open our eyes,  Lord!

Open my eyes so that I will observe amazing things from your instruction- Psalms  119:18 (ISV)

What does the Bible say?

Read: Psalms 34…taste and see that the Lord is good!

Action: It’s day 6 of waiting - tarrying in the Upper Room of God’s presence. Let the revelation of angels attending us - protecting us sink deep into your spirit. Be thankful and welcome the angelic assistance. Continue to cry out for Holy Spirit boldness, empowerment, innovation, and an apostolic spirit to move into this new era of divine movement/outpouring!

Decree: We loose angels to rescue, strip away bondages, remove obstacles that hinder, and protect us from hell’s strategies. - Angel Armies pg. 195
