By Faith, Slay Giants!
Today is the 19th day of the Feast of Weeks. We just entered the Biblical month of Iyar the month of Issachar; discerning the times and season of the Lord. The Hebrew letter associated with Iyar is vav (represents man). We can gain revelation this month of God's timing and how to slay the giants in our promised land.
19 represents faith it also denotes God's perfect order in regard to His judgment.
The Spirit says, by faith the men and women of old slewed giants, sojourned to foreign lands, bore children, shut the mouths of lions, conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness and obtained promises. We too by faith can slay the giants in our promised land. We can walk into unknown territory and take the land for the Lord. We, through faith and the using the weapon of praise can obtain God's promises. This is not a season to draw back but to press on, to press through and gain our breakthrough. Nothing is impossible when by faith we take a stand and move out into our promised land.
Faith is key in this season ask Holy Spirit for an increase of your faith! The Lord said we were to re-read Hebrews 11 so take through the week to read Hebrews 11. Let faith arise in your heart, what ever you are facing, whatever giants are in your land by faith and praise they can be defeated.
Heb 11:1 (Amp) NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Praise Opened The Prison Doors - Set Captives Free
Acts 16:25-34 But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were unfastened.
Praise Brought People Into The Kingdom of God
When the jailer awoke and saw the prison doors opened, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Do not harm yourself, for we are all here!" And he called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas, and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house. And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household. And he brought them into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, having believed in God with his whole household.
