Day 17 - Breakthrough INTO Victory!

Shout for He has Given You the Victory

It's day17 of counting the Omer. 17 in scripture symbolizes "overcoming the enemy" and "complete victory."

The number 17 in Hebrew is the word Peh () means "mouth" and by extension, "word," "expression," "vocalization," "speech," and "breath."  In the order of the Hebrew alphabet, Pey follows the letter 'Ayin, suggesting the priority of the eyes (i.e., understanding, awareness) before verbal expression (negatively, reversing this order results in "blind consumption" or mindless chatter). The chokhmah (wise one) is swift to observe and then to offer an opinion about something.  'Ayin gives insight, but it is the peh (mouth) that gives insight expression. The Spirit of the Lord says, Victory is yours! Rejoice, again I say rejoice! Rejoice in knowing that I, the Almighty, the Breaker, the Victor is on your side. I am going before you and breaking open the way, trust not in chariots or horses (in human endeavors) but put your trust in Me for it is I, the Great I AM who will bring you the victory.

Breakthrough is an offensive military assault that penetrates and carries beyond a defensive line; It's an act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle; a sudden advance especially in knowledge or technique.

In Micah 2:13 the Breaker went out before them to break them out of restriction, to break though the obstacles so they could come INTO a place of abundance, fulfillment, to a broad place

The Breaker Brings Us Through – To Bring Us In!

All of us have endured hardships whether in our souls, bodies, finances, family matters, even death. These troubles were not meant to crush us but to bring us out into a better place.

Let these scriptures encourage you:

  • Psalms 18:19 He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me.
  • Deuteronomy 6:23 He brought us out from there in order to bring us in, to give us the land which He had sworn to our fathers.
  • Psalms 66:12 You made men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water, yet you brought us out into a place of abundance / to rich fulfillment [to abundance and refreshment and the open air].

The root meaning of brought forth – brought out is to break out, to bring out, to exit, and to go forth.

Many of us are shut up as individuals? Do you feel shut up? In other words, you haven’t yet broken into the fullness of your identity.

God wants to break us out – INTO the person He has created us to be / our true identity! Not who we perceive we are or others perceive we are BUT who He has called and destined us to be from the foundation of the world.

WE NEED A REVELATION OF JESUS THE BREAKER ~ Ask Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus the Breaker to you!

Victory Is Yours

•   I Ch. 29:11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

•   1Co 15:57  but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

•   1Jn 5:4  For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

TO DO

Read: Psalms 20 / Trust in the Name of the Lord Our God

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. MAY THE Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high [and defend you]; Send you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you from Zion; Remember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah [pause, and think of that]! May He grant you according to your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans. We will [shout in] triumph at your salvation and victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God. They are bowed down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright. O Lord, give victory; let the King answer us when we call.

Take Action: Shout for the Lord has given you the victory! Listen to the song, let faith arise in your heart.

Declare: Breakthrough is my portion, victory is at hand!

Victory Is At Hand,
