Day 8 - God's Word Is!

Forever Settled In Heaven!

This week we are looking at the prophetic aspect of Year of the Sword. The Sword of the Lord is likened unto the Word of God today we will see that the Word of God is forever settled, tested and proven trustworthy, pure, it’s not bound or restricted to man’s ideas or ways, it stands forever and is ever increasing.

This year God will drop His plumb line, His sword down into our lives to cut away, cut off, and cut through things that have hindered us from moving forward, advancing in our destinies.

1.      Cutting Away - Things that are on the surface that were a part of our growth process but are now being removed because its time to move into our next phase of life / ministry.

2.      Cutting Off - Things that need to be pierced through to the center of our being; areas we have yet to get freedom – deliverance is needed, the removal of that which is harmful in us.

3.      Cutting Through - Anything that impedes our progress by standing in our way. Things that will arrest our development. The removing of obstacles around us.

Here are 7 keys truths about the Word of God:

IT IS…

  1. Settled: resolve definitely and conclusively
  2. Tried: tested and proved good, dependable, or trustworthy
  3. Pure: clean and free from impurities
  4. Living: having life, not dead or nonexistent
  5. Stands forever: to remain firm or steadfast for all time
  6. Not bound [BUT free, loose, unrestricted]
  7. Increasing: a rise to a greater quantity, or degree
