Day 21 - I Will Restore Joy!

Joy Unspeakable And Full Of Glory

Jesus said in Mark 4 the cares of this life can cause the Word of God to be of no profit to our lives. Life has many challenges, daily we are bombarded with decisions that need to be made some with life changing consequences. We trek on day after day being good soldiers of the Lord not realizing that often our joy is slowly being zapped and the Word of Life is being challenged on every side.

There are two simple things we can do each day to ensure we are living in the best mental state possible.

1. Spend time in God’s Presence and Word.

2. Rejoice, be joyful, be thankful

These two simple things are the plumb line to keep our eyes and heart focused on the Lord and not the cares of this life.

Nehemiah 8:10Then [Ezra] told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.

1 Peter 1:6-8In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory

  • Joy H2304 – to rejoice, gladness, joy; to make glad, be joined.
  • Strength 4581 - a fortified place; figuratively a defense: - force, fort (-ress), rock, strength (-en),  strong (hold) comes from a root being to be stout, to prevail, be strong.

JOY - being able to rejoice, to make yourself glad, joining yourself to the Lord daily IS your defense against life’s challenges, JOY is your strength, it’s a righteous stronghold that will defeat the enemy of depression, despair, hopelessness.  CHOOSE to walk in it daily!

Day 21 – May 14th / Your Life Ministry

Read: Psalms 51:12; Psalms 23; Nehemiah 8:10b

Restoration… Often in life and ministry we go, go, go so much so we rarely stop to be refresh but this drains us and will still our JOY! Joy is vital as we walk in life and ministry, it’s our strength. If you have lost joy ask the Father to restore it to you, ask Holy Spirit for an outpouring of refreshing to fall upon you!

Declare: Joy is my portion, my joy is being restored. I walk in joy and release it wherever I go!

Write a decree of divine restoration of your JOY; declare it!
