Day 19 - Restoration Come!

Relational - Full Restoration Came

Loss Can Be Restored – Job suffered loss of health, family, finances, property, friends…everything but his life.

He misjudged what God was doing in his life and spoke rashly at times.  His friends accused him of being in sin; otherwise these trouble things wouldn’t be happening, right?

But Job came to his senses, he humbled himself before the Lord and repented for his judgement against God and his counselors / friends. AND when he did RESTORATION CAME!

Humble Yourselves

Job 42:4-6'Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.'  "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You; Therefore I retract [my words & judgments], And I repent in dust and ashes."

Pray For Those Who Have Accused You

Job 42:10-12aAnd the LORD restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.

Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning…

-  Restore: to return something to its proper owner or place; to bring something back to an earlier and better condition; to give somebody new strength or vigor; bring back to a state of health, soundness, or vigor.

As you can see in the above scripture, when Job repented and prayed for his friends [the very friends who taunted him, accused him of being in sin and bringing his troubles upon himself] THEN his CAPTIVITY was TURNED and RESTORATION CAME!

Day 19 – May 12th / Relational

Read: Luke 6:37-38 [AMP]

Restoration… Let it Go! So often it’s the little things that cause us to stumble, to hold people in bondage with our anger, bitterness, or resentment. During this season we can see our relationships restored but we have to be willing to lay down those things that have hurt us, caused us pain. We must hand those things over to the Lord, name those who have wronged you, repent for holding them captive thereby holding yourself captive. Release them, release resentment, release judgement, let it go! Ask Holy Spirit to put salve over your wounds so you can be healed.

Declare: I chose to judge not but be one who walks in forgiveness and grace.

Write a decree of divine restoration for your relationships; declare it!

Humbled In His Presence,

Restoration Come,
