Season of Release - Day 2

A Season of Open Heavens: Passover to Shavuot / Pentecost [April 23rd - June 12th, 2016]

In 2016, we entered a Jubilee, it is also the 70th Jubilee since Joshua and Caleb entered the Promise Land. In order for us to walk in the full restoration that’s offered during a Jubilee season we must take leaps of faith to break the old cycles of death in our lives and to establish new cycles of life.

God has laid up wisdom for every believer to tap into. It’s time to dig that wisdom out, so we can utilize and appropriate all that’s being provided to us in this Jubilee time.

According to the prophets of God we are in a three year period of divine reversals; a change to an opposite direction or state; a reversing of situations or problems, a court issue [heavenly & nature] being reversed or turned into your favor.

Incredible revelation starts pouring in between Passover and Pentecost. This time is called “The Time of Counting the Omer”. Omer literally means sheaf. Leviticus 23:15 says that it is a blessing to count the omer.

The time between Passover and Pentecost is a transition time. Transition means you cross over. This is an important period of growth and introspection. It’s a time to review all revelation from the past season and the way we operated in supply in our last season. The people were freed from Egypt so that they could receive the Torah. A major reason of this season is to show your desire for revelation from God to come alive in you. If you enter into thistime of“counting the omer”  you will press in to new revelation.

The first thing you do in counting the omer is stop, review your blessings, and then bless God! Get to know Him. See the fullness of who He is through His Son who was sent to redeem us.

Secondly, the seven weeks associated with counting the omer are meant to press you into spiritual improvement, new relationships, new respect, spiritual correction and restoration from the mistakes of the past, and the development of a triumphant mindset for the entire season ahead. [Chuck Pierce]

We are in a season of divine reversal…

Esther 9:1  …when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, on the day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the mastery over them, it was turned to the contrary so that the Jews themselves gained the mastery over those who hated them.

  • Turned H2016 hephekFrom H2015; a turn, that is, the reverse: - contrary.

  • Decree – It’s time for us to write some divine reversal decrees!

Each week we will pray into these seven areas of our lives.

  1. Personal (spiritually)

  2. Family

  3. Financial

  4. Physical

  5. Relational

  6. Church / Ministry [you attend]

  7. Your Life Ministry [outflow of your gifts to whomever and wherever God leads you]

Day Two: Family - Let’s pray for the prodigals!

Read: Acts 16:25-35

Who in your family needs to be released from captivity? Ask the Holy Spirit to overshadow them and draw them unto Jesus. Ask the Father to release them into True Freedom!

Call forth all the prodigals in your family!

Pray: Father, release your love into _________. Jesus release your grace into ______ and Holy Spirit release your power upon ______ so they may walk a surrendered sold out life for the Lord.

Declare: I Release ______(enter name) From All Captivity!

Write a decree of divine reversal for your family; declare it every day this week!

Standing in agreement for you!
