Entering A Season Of The Open Heaven
Counting of the Omer 2016
In This Year of Jubilee

Seven Weeks Of Pressing Into The Lord

In 5776 / 2016, we entered a Jubilee, it the 70th Jubilee since Joshua and Caleb entered the Promise Land. In order for us to walk in the full restoration that’s offered during a Jubilee season we must take leaps of faith to break the old cycles of death in our lives and to establish new cycles of life.

God has laid up wisdom for every believer to tap into. It’s time to dig that wisdom out, so we can utilize and appropriate all that’s being provided to us in this Jubilee time.

According to the prophets of God we are in a three year period of divine reversals = a change to an opposite direction or state; a reversing of situations or problems, a court issue [heavenly & natural] being reversed or turned into your favor.

According to the Lev. 23:15 we are obligated to count the days from Passover to Shavu'ot [Pentecost].This period is known as the Counting of the Omer. An omer is a unit of measure. On the second day of Passover [Today April 23rd].

Lev 23:15-16 'You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths.'You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to the LORD.

We are reordering our days during this season – Biblically the day begins at evening so during these 7 weeks we want to take time each evening to seek the Lord.

These Seven Weeks are known as the Feast Of Weeks or Counting the Omer.

A Season of Open Heavens: Passover to Shavuot / Pentecost [April 23rd - June 12th, 2016].

Deut 16:10-11 Then you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with a tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give to the Lord your God, as the Lord your God blesses you. And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and daughter, your manservant and maidservant, and the Levite who is within your towns, the stranger or temporary resident, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, at the place in which the Lord your God chooses to make His Name [and His Presence] dwell.

7 Weeks – 50 Days is when Jesus appeared to the people for 40 days before He ascended, then He told them to wait in Jerusalem until the day of Pentecost had fully come; they waited 10 days.

...He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Acts 1:5

The time between Passover and Pentecost is a transition time. Transition means you cross over. This is an important period of growth and introspection. It’s a time to review all revelation from the past season and the way we operated in supply in our last season. The people were freed from Egypt so that they could receive the Torah. A major reason of this season is to show your desire for revelation from God to come alive in you. If you enter into this time of “counting the omer” you will press in to new revelation.

The first thing you do in counting the omer is stop, review your blessings, and then bless God! Get to know Him. See the fullness of who He is through His Son who was sent to redeem us.

Secondly, the seven weeks associated with counting the omer are meant to press you into spiritual improvement, new relationships, new respect, spiritual correction and restoration from the mistakes of the past, and the development of a triumphant mindset for the entire season ahead. [Chuck Pierce]

May You Experience....

Your Appointed Jubilee in this 70th Jubilee since Joshua & Caleb - It's a time to enter your promised land!

Appointed: (of a time or place) decided on beforehand; designated. In Hebrew it's the word mo'ed = a fix, set, appointed, designated time (season) to meet with God.

The Almighty God has chosen this season [5776 / 2016] to be a Jubilee and He has laid out before us the opportunity to 'Carpe diem ' or 'seize the day'.

What is your promise land?

Your Promised Land is your appointed area for maximum fruitfulness in the Kingdom of God. It's a time for you to discover your SHEM = your name; the totality of who He created you to be and your unique role in advancing God's plans and purposes in the earth.

Promises Associated With Jubilee

• Season of release Lev 25:8-13 / divine reversals! Esther 9:1
• Season of returning to inheritance: Joshua entered the Promised Land 70 jubilees ago. The number 70 signifies perfect spiritual order carried out with all power. It is a season of returning to inheritance by divine power and authority as was manifest amongst the children of Israel when they returned to the Promised Land.
• Season of restoration of what was stolen: Proclaim Is.49.8-26 over Israel and the Ecclesia Prophesy that it is a season of restoration of what was stolen, plundered, in terms of authority, territory, wealth, human and natural resources, even of legal captives;
• Season of favor: Prophesy Isa 61.1-2
• Season of the vengeance of our LORD. Prophesy Isa 60.18
• Season of restitution in the finance/economic sector for Israel and the Ecclesia
• Season of rebuilding: Proclaim Ps 122

Over the next seven weeks we will look into each of these promises and learn how we can appropriate them into our lives.

This counting of the Omer will be 50 days of pressing into the Lord through looking into the scriptures, reflections, repentance, prayer, praise, declarations and action.

Starting tonight I will post the revelation the Lord has given me for these 50 days....He said, I want My people to fully experience My Jubilee in their lives.

But it's going to take us setting aside time each evening to reflect, meditate on His Word and take action in our lives.

Crossing Over INTO His Jubilee,
Do you want to join me?
